Week 9 home learning

Hi Year 2,

I hope that you and your families are all keeping well.  As you may know, I’m currently working with the older keyworker children.  It's a bit different being at school because I'm teaching in a different classroom and I don't get to see your smiley faces every day.

It was lovely to speak to most of you last week about all the home learning and lovely things that you have been doing whilst you are at home.

For your learning this week, your reading is about the life cycle of a butterfly, your writing is going to be to write a recount and there is a conjunctions game for you to play too.

In maths you are going to be looking at block graphs, tally charts and tables to interpret information.

This week in science, you will be finding out about which plants and animals live in the desert and in history you will be creating a fact sheet about all that you have learnt about Queen Elizabeth II.

I hope you all have a good week.

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs Smith
