Week 4 home learning

Dear Year 2,

Hopefully you’ve all had another good week in the beautiful sunshine.

We had a lovely day on Friday, celebrating VE day with our neighbours.  We spent the week making bunting and for our picnic we made cheese and fruit scones – they were delicious!

I hope that you’re all getting on well with your home learning.  BBC Bitesize are also doing online lessons.  Use this link and it will take to straight to the Year 2 learning pages.  There’s some work on there about plants and using commas which links to our home learning. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/z7s22sg/year-2-and-p3-lessons/1

This week you have 3 pieces of English, continuing the story of Peter Rabbit and 3 pieces of Maths to do with our learning about multiplication and division.  How many of you are playing Times Tables Rockstars?  Have you been taking part in the year group battles?  You will be continuing to learn about our royal family and investigating hot and cold countries around the world.

Enjoy working on your home learning this week.

Take care and stay safe.

Mrs Smith
