Week 2 home learning

Dear Year 4,

It was lovely to chat and catch up with most of you this week on the phone. It was brilliant to hear all the different ways you have been keeping busy. There has been baking, trampolining and lots of home learning amongst other things!

I hope you enjoyed last week’s home learning pack, as well as marking your own work, just like we have done in class. Did you have a go at the digestion experiment I suggested?

This week, there are three pieces of English and maths. There is also science, history and geography learning. I think you will really enjoy science this week! It’s all about finding out what food does to our teeth. It has made me more certain about why I brush my teeth regularly! I’d love to see some photos of your investigations so post them on the school’s Facebook page so I can see!

In addition to the home learning pack, you can complete the online English and maths lessons on  https://www.thenational.academy/ If you click on the Year 4 link, you will be able to access the different English and maths lessons each day.

Keep up the hard work and stay safe,

Mrs Bevis
