Week 1 home learning
I hope you have enjoyed your home learning activities so far and have shown your family how super you are! I am excited to hear all about your African projects and how you have been practising your phonics and maths skills!
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and have had lots of fun doing you Easter activities! My favourite activities were painting my egg and creating a parachute for my egg. I called him Mr Bump because his first take off from the bedroom window wasn’t very successful at first. Mr Bump needed a plaster and I had to make my parachute better to protect him from the fall.
I have been on some lovely walks and have spotted lots of rainbow pictures in windows, which makes me smile. This inspired me to paint rainbow flowers and put them in my window. When I go out for my daily exercise I try to spot new ones. How many rainbow pictures have you spotted?
I have been into school and have cleaned out our fishpond with some of the children. We moved them outside the hall so everyone can look after them. The pond had a few cracks in it, and we think that all the muck had stopped it from leaking. Once we cleaned it, we needed to fix it with some special sealing glue. The fish had to stay over night in a different container while it dried. They are now very happy now and are being fed regularly.
I have been busy creating some new and exciting learning for you – we have some exciting writing and maths, as well as things to make. I think you should ask your family to join in with our P.E sessions as this is lots of fun and will keep us all smiling!
I am looking forward to phoning you all next week, so you can tell me what you have been up to!
I miss you all and hope to see you soon!
Big smiles from Miss Sinclair
