Week 1 home learning
Hello, Year 3.
I hope you and your families are all okay. It has been somewhat strange going into school over the last few weeks, I miss seeing you all and sharing our daily conversations about learning and other random topics!
I am sure you all enjoyed Easter, ate lots of chocolates and spent time with your family at home. I had lots of Haribo. 😀
Over the last few weeks, I have re-read one of my favourite books - The Hobbit, which I highly recommend. As you would expect, I have been watching Star Wars and I think Baby Yoda should be a new member of Year 3. 😊
I know you will have been keeping your brains active by reading daily and completing the home learning and activities from the school website. Like some of you, I completed the Year 3 science activity by creating salt crystals on a piece of string and made a crystallised flower that I have now given to my mum. She said, " well done."
I can see you have been playing Times Tables Rock Stars and your speed at answering has improved, keep it up. 👍
My challenge over the next few weeks is to improve my cooking skills and make something delicious for my family to eat, fingers crossed!
I am looking forward to seeing you all soon, please keep uploading your photos or work on to the school Facebook page as it is fantastic to see them.
Bye for now, please stay safe.
