Week 1 home learning

Hello Year 1,

I hope you are all well and keeping safe with your families. I expect you have been super busy with your home learning activities so far and I look forward to hearing all about them. I particularly liked the yoga activity and have even made a sequence myself! I hope you had an enjoyable Easter weekend in the lovely sunshine and ate lots of tasty Easter eggs. I definitely ate too much chocolate!

It feels very strange writing to you and not seeing your lovely faces in our classroom every day, however I am looking forward to speaking to you all on the phone over the next few days and hearing all about what you have been up to. 😊

I have been going on a lovely long walk every day and taking my sausage dog, some days he surprises me with how far he will walk on his little short legs! I hope you have been managing to get out on walks too and look for rainbows. How many have you managed to see in people’s windows? I have seen lots! I have also been doing some baking and trying to bake new things that I have never made before. I made some lovely scones and cookies, however my cake did not turn out so good!

Enjoy working on your home learning packs this week, remember to just try your best and ask for help if you need it.

I have still got a while until the baby will be arriving so I am hoping to see all of your smiley faces again soon.

Miss you all, take care,

from Miss Williams 😊
