Riverside Academy has a highly qualified teaching and support staff. The staffing structure of the school is designed to ensure excellent leadership and management as well as the highest quality teaching and learning.

The leadership structure of the school is designed to ensure good communication and efficient day to day running. It also ensures that there is a senior leader available to talk to parents or visitors if required.

Teachers are well qualified and are experienced in the age group of the classes they are teaching. All classes are supported by highly trained teaching assistants.

To ensure that we deliver a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum we have a range of specialist staff to teach children including music, sport and inclusion. These teachers are experts in their subjects and teach lessons as well as provide extra curricular activities.

At Riverside every child must achieve to the best of their ability and we have a range of staff to help children requiring additional support, this might be in the area of special educational needs or provision for gifted and talented pupils.

Parents and visitors to the school will receive a polite and professional welcome from our office staff who will provide you with any information about the school you may need. Please see the 'contact us' section for details of who to contact.
